A CHARITY helping the needy at home and abroad has been hit twice in the last week by thieves.
More than £600 was taken in two separate incidents from the International Aid Trust charity shop in Albert Road, Morecambe.
A spokesman for International Aid said: "This act is depriving the hungry from being fed, the homeless from being housed, the needy receiving help and the charity from providing desperately needed aid to thousands of people both at home and abroad. This dispicable thief should have trouble sleeping at night."
International Aid Trust has 16 charity shops and in the last few months distributed more than 1,100 tonnes of humanitarian aid overseas.
One person is suspected of committing both crimes and the police are investigating.
