SCHOOLS are back and don't we know it!
Each morning driving to work, my journey has gone up to 40 minutes, as compared to 25 during the holidays.
I have considered using the train, but it would still mean a 20-minute drive to the station, and then another ten minutes journey, plus further expense.
But is so frustrating when the solution is so obvious.
If public transport were improved, quicker, more efficient, and cheaper, all these vehicles would be off the road, and we'd all feel safer and less stressed.
What's more the environment would reap the benefits too.
Why, oh why don't the people with the power see the obvious?
