THIS is the man who indecently assaulted a 21-year-old woman on Marsh Lane, Preston.
The attack took place just after midnight on Monday, October 29.
The man approached the woman, who was walking along, and assaulted her.
She screamed and ran off towards Preston town centre. There she got into a taxi parked at the rank outside O'Neill's on Friargate.
The driver took the victim, who police said was very distressed, to her home.
The driver is described as an Asian male, late forties to fifties, who was balding, clean shaven and wearing glasses. "We are keen to speak to the taxi driver as he may be able to provide vital information about this attack," said detective superintendent Paul Buschini.
"We are appealing for anyone with any information about this assault to come forward to me police.
"In particular, we would like to hear from anyone who recognises the offender from the e-fit."
The attacker was said to be six feet tall, of a big build and wearing dark clothing.
