THERE was a parade of ghosts, vampires, witches and devils when Greenlands Community Primary School opened its doors on the morning of Hallowe'en.
They were very generous spooks, though, as every one of them insisted on handing over 20p to be donated to Children in Need.
The fancy dress competition was the idea of Mrs Parker, one of the mums whose children attend the school. Mrs Wardley and all the staff would like to thank her and everyone who put so much effort into the costumes for taking part and starting off the school's fund-raising efforts for the well known charity.
Mrs Sylvia Wardley (headteacher), Greenlands Community Primary School, Dawnay Road, Preston.
