There would appear to be at least one solution.
The bus station car park can hold 1169 cars, almost twice as many as either of the town's other municipal car parks, and it is well positioned to serve Deepdale.
There is no reason at all why the bus station multi-storey car park, threatened by demolition, could not be reserved for football fans on match days.
Special buses could easily be provided from the station, keeping high-spirited fans away from shopping areas.
There are many reasons why the bus station and multi-storey car park should not be lost, including helping to manage the traffic that will follow North End's inevitable rise to the Premiership.
