A WOMAN who flouted a court order kept her freedom, after magistrates said she was trying to change and had not offended for a year.
The Burnley bench had been told how Susan Georgina Kenny, 24, was now leading a law abiding life.
Kenny, of Cog Lane, Burnley, admitted breaching a community rehabilitation order and failing to surrender. She was given 30 hours' community punishment and conditionally discharged for six months.
Mike Cunningham, prosecuting, said the two-year community rehabilitation order was imposed by Preston magistrates after Kenny was convicted of attempted deception. She had gone into a post office trying to cash a benefits book.
