ROSSENDALE and Darwen MP Janet Anderson is on the move! She's not switching constituency, simply relocating her Rossendale office from Bacup to Waterfoot.
But that's no reflection on her voters in Bacup where she will still be holding regular advice surgeries in the town's neighbourhood office.
Her new office, from January, will be in the former Barclays Bank building in Bacup Road, Waterfoot, next to the Royal Hotel. It will be manned full-time.
Janet said: "This means people will be able to come in with their queries at any time and hopefully they will make use of the office.
"We had to move because Brian Boys was selling the building we occupied and I understand the mortgage businessman who sub-lets the building is taking over the lot."
