NEIL Turley's phenomenal rise up the rugby league ladder went up another notch or two as the Leigh Centurions full-back made a sensational international debut.
Turley, 21, capped an astonishing 12 months by scoring FIVE tries in England Under 21s 112-6 demolition of South Africa's full Test side in Pretoria.
Turley, who began the year simply as a Centurions squad player, has ended it with over 60 tries and a bagful of individual awards.
England's youngsters scored 20 tries in all - an incredible achievement after France had struggled to put 40 points past South Africa in a recent full international.
The teams meet in the second and final Test on Wednesday.
