EDWARD Haczycki and his friend plotted their revenge after being asked to leave a community bonfire at the Observatory pub in Old Bank Lane, Blackburn.
Magistrates heard that shortly after the incident the landlady, Caroline Smith, discovered that a garden table and several benches had disappeared. And when police interviewed Haczycki he admitted responsibility for throwing them on the fire.
Haczycki, 19, of Old Bank Lane, pleaded guilty to damaging property worth £300 belonging to Caroline Smith.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £300 compensation and £55 costs.
