BURNLEY council leader Stuart Caddy will have his face painted on Friday, to raise money for Children In Need.
He will then cut a yellow ribbon to start a charity walk by staff. Ten store staff dressed in school uniform and with faces painted like Pudsey Bear will walk to the Asda store in Accrington on a route of almost ten miles, taking in Padiham and Clayton-le-Moors, and collecting money on the way.
Staff from the Accrington store will be doing a similar walk in the opposite direction. Also on Friday morning store managers will be sitting in a bath of custard and appealing to shoppers to donate cash.
On Saturday at Barden High School Asda workers will be taking part in a five-a-side soccer tournament with the entry fees also going to Children In Need.
