A MAN aged 20, said to have made the lives of Brierfield Co-op staff a misery, has been banned from the town.
Najaf Khan, formerly of Halifax Road, was bailed until December 17, for a pre-sentence report, after admitting theft, putting a person in fear of violence and assaulting the shop manager.
He was told by the bench custody was not being ruled out.
Khan must live and sleep at the flat above Camel One Takeaway, Wilmslow Road, Manchester, observe a curfew from 8pm until 8am, and not contact or attempt to contact prosecution witnesses.
He must also not enter Brierfield, not go within 250 metres of the Co-op there but must report every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9am and 12 noon at Minshull Street police station, Manchester.
