CLITHEROE'S Cafe Caprice is celebrating after being included in the new-look Best Tea Places Guide for the sixth year running.
The cafe, in Moor Lane, formerly the Caprice Tea Shop, is only one of three cafes in Lancashire to have been included.
Its recent new image and name change also gets a mention, with Cafe Caprice owner Peter Jenkinson also praising the guide on its own re-vamped look.
Peter and his wife, Joyce, pride themselves on their speciality recipes and dishes, including their gingerbread and Lancashire parkins, which also get a mention in the guide.
Their entry reads: "The natural shades have gone and instead, the colour scheme is vibrant and lively.
"But the modern look doesn't mean that the old-fashioned friendliness and service has gone.
"They are still very much in evidence, as are Joyce Jenkinson's talents in the kitchen and interest in food and traditional cookery."
Peter said: "We collect old fashioned Lancashire recipe books, both as a hobby and to incorporate into our menus, some dating back to the turn of the last century."
