Hornets boss - Gianluca Vialli: "WE gave away an avoidable goal in the first five minutes and that made it very difficult for us.
"Overall we put up a decent performance. We created a few chances and a few good positions but the final ball wasn't good enough.
"Heidar Helguson had a good chance when the ball dropped to him but he was a bit unfortunate because he was unbalanced.
"They were the better side on the pitch in the first 20 minutes and it took us a long time to get going. The team that started off better won.
"I got a bit frustrated with the referee and the linesman near the end, when you are losing you lose patience a bit quicker. I was not happy with a few decisions but I don't want to make a big deal of it. But I was not disrespectful to anyone."
Clarets manager Stan Ternent
"THE lads played very well and after Saturday it was nice to get maximum points tonight.
"They threw everything they had at us but I only really remember them having one chance in the first half.
"Steve Davis was not fit again and he is the club captain and an extremely good player. But Arthur has come in again and done extremely well. He is already a cult figure.
"I was a bit disappointed in the last two minutes when he went on a run but stopped. I had hoped he would keep going."
Clarets scorer Glen Little
"WE held out for 85 minutes after taking the lead and it was a good victory. I thought it was quite a good game in the first half, we knocked it about but maybe there were some tired legs after the break."
