MORE activities for children, more bobbies on the beat and cutting rural speeding were just some of the issues residents of Pickup Bank, Darwen, said they wanted to see improved when they met to discuss development plans for their area.
Around 50 people turned up at the Old Rosins to see a display of the area in the past and to talk about what they wanted for its future.
The seminar was one in a series organised for local people to give their views on how a Community Regeneration Zone grant from Blackburn with Darwen Council for the area should be spent.
