A HELICOPTER ride and a signed photo of soccer star Robbie Fowler are just some of the items up for grabs at a charity event to raise money for Clitheroe youngster Tina Stevenson.
The nine-year-old Edisford County Primary School pupil suffers from cerebral palsy and her parents, Paul and Dawn, of Henthorn Avenue, have launched an appeal to raise £2,500 to buy her an electric wheelchair.
Also up for auction at the event, at the Craven Heifer, Whalley Road, Clitheroe is a signed Manchester City Football.
Entertainment will be provided and there will also be a raffle. Organiser Helen Jackson said: "We hope to raise several hundreds pounds for Tina, with the helicopter ride on its own worth £180."
Last week, martial arts experts Christopher Pate karate chopped his way through a record-breaking 50 wooden boards to raise several hundred pounds for Tina's fund.
Tina's dad Paul said: "We are really grateful to everybody who is helping out."
The Craven Heifer event begins at 8pm and anyone wishing to make a telephone bid for any of the item can phone Helen Jackson on 01200 443546. Anyone who wants to give to the appeal or has fund-raising ideas can call Paul Stevenson on 01200 442495.
