AN exhibition by John Stirton of water colours depicting scenes from around Darwen and surrounding areas is currently on display at the Darwen Heritage and Craft Centre.
And the centre has seen more people come forward to take part in its historical quiz in aid of Children in Need.
Heritage centre member Ray Kemp has set 25 historical questions all about the town.
Quiz sheets can be bought for 50p from the Darwen Heritage Centre on Bolton Road, or from local pubs including the White Lion, Black Horse, Mill Gap and the Britannia.
Other local pubs are still coming forward to take part.
The closing date is December 10, with prizes awarded to the first three correct entries drawn on December 15.
