VIEWERS of Channel Four's Watercolour Challenge were treated to view of the Irwell Valley Sculpture Trail.
The popular painting programme set its amateur artists the challenge of tackling Richard Caink's In the Picture, which is based at Chatterton, near Stubbins.
The sculpture is a large-scale picture frame and several carvings that frame the view along the valley.
The frame refers to traditional landscape painting of the 18th and 19th century which was often used to display land ownership.
The carvings relate to artefacts from the traditional industries and the loom-wreckers rebellion of 1826 at Chatterton Mill.
Projects officer for the National Lottery funded sculpture trail Cathy Newbery said: "The show featured a lot of the sculpture trail including the tilted vase, Remnant Kings and Seek and You Will Find.
"It also went into the history of the trail and showed still photographs of In the Picture and Remnant Kings being made."
The BBC has also been filming in the area and is to feature the sculpture trail as a holiday destination in a travel programme.
