LYTHAM pupils with a driving ambition were able to get behind the wheel recently - without actually going anywhere!
Students at St Bede's RC High School, Talbot Road, tried out a unique driving simulator when instruction company BSM's national road show rolled into town.
As well as practising steering, clutch control and changing gear, youngsters could test their theory skills with a computerised bank of questions.
BSM road show manager Andy Brown said: "The road show gives students the chance to drive a car in a safe and controlled environment, and to have some fun at the same time."
