A PRIZE-giving with a festive flavour took place recently for primary pupils at Thornton Cleveleys.
Blackpool North and Fleetwood MP Joan Humble met with budding artists from ten local primary schools to award them competition prizes for their effort in designing her constituency Christmas card.
Winner Sally Taylor (pictured on right of Joan Humble) of Manor Beach Primary, Thornton, joined runners-up at the Frank Townend Community Centre, Beach Road, for the presentation.
A spokesman for the MP said: "This is the second year that Mrs Humble has held such a competition and she has been delighted with the standard of the replies she has received."
