LEADING students from six of the Fylde's senior schools put their heads together at a special working lunch recently.
Head boys and girls and their deputies from Rossall School, Lytham St Annes Technology College, Arnold School, Kirkham Grammar School and Carr Hill High School met at King Edward VII and Queen Mary School, Lytham, to discuss their roles and responsibilities as head students.
They were invited to lunch at the school by principal Julian Wilde and were met by head girl Jo Stephenson and head boy Chris Roberts.
Chris said: "Many of us have met before socially or on the sports field, but this was the first chance we have had to discuss our roles.
"I discovered that each school is very different and that we all find our job demanding as well as enjoyable."
And the students, who will shortly be taking their A' levels, are planning a follow-up meeting to round off their year of office.
