THE story of the brave children during the Great Plague of 1665 will be told in the musical A Ring of Roses performed by Thornton Cleveleys Youth Theatre.
The year is 1665, the time of the plague. Alone on the hill stand the children, isolated from their village where their parents sit waiting for the day when it will be safe to be reunited.
The concert, at the Lecture Hall, Four Lane Ends, Thornton, is on November 29, 30 and Dec 1 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3.50 for adults, £3 for children and OAPs and family tickets -- two adults and two children -- £11, with one adult and one child at £5.50. Call (01253) 860856 for more details.
