BURY'S Suzanne Shaw, newly-crowned spectacle wearer of the year, has just been named as the celebrity schoolchildren would most like receive a music lesson from.
The former St Gabriel's High School pupil, who found fame when chosen to become part of the TV group Hear'say, ranked top in a national poll.
Suzanne, who shares the spec wearer title with her female band members Kym Marsh and Myleene Klass, was picked out as the ideal music tutor for the day by children aged from nine to 16.
Computer giants Microsoft carried out the survey as part of a promotion for its computer encyclopedia Encarta.
Suzanne (19), whose family hail from Radcliffe, left fellow popstars Posh Spice and Samantha Mumba trailing in her wake.
