DAIRY farmer Robert Bethell demanded a £270,000 motorway bridge to link his split farm because he reckoned a 12-hour day was enough for anyone.
His Head O'th Marsh Farm, Brindle, was to be severed by the extended M65 and he did not want to spend extra time moving animals.
