VILLAGERS can have their say on local transport issues at a meeting at Aighton, Bailey and Chaigley village hall on November 26.
The meeting, which starts at 7.30pm, has been called to discuss the future transport requirements of Hurst Green and surrounding areas in the Ribble Valley.
Speakers include Jane Fletcher from the Parish Council Fund for Community Futures, Alex Ainsworth, rural transport officer for Lancashire County Council, and David Wilson, East Lancashire transport area co-ordinator.
Sue Buckley, from Ribble Valley Community Transport, will also be there.
Sue said: "The meeting is hopefully to discuss the future development of rural transport services to try and give parishes access to the countryside parish transport fund.
"This fund makes up to £10,000 available to each parish over a three-year period to improve their transport needs."
