I AM currently studying history at Lancaster University and have just started my third and final year.
As part of my assessment I have to do a 10,000 word dissertation and I have chosen to research the role of British Women in the Second World War. An integral part of my dissertation will be the interviewing of women who may have experiences to share.
I am asking for volunteers who may be willing to give views on the ways in which the war changed their lives. Aspects such as wartime jobs, the experiences of husbands going to battle and motherhood during the period are of particular interest to me.
I would very much appreciate it if volunteers could contact me at the address supplied. I look forward to hearing from anyone interested.
