RAMSBOTTOM have put seven days on Clitheroe's Jason Jones.
Manager Mike Kelly can speak to the left-sided midfielder next Thursday.
"He has been in and out of the side at Clitheroe and he would have been one of the first names on the teamsheet last year under Dave Burgess," said Kelly.
Paul Mashiter has signed for the North West Counties First Division side from Feniscowles and played in Wednesday's 5-2 win over Colne.
Mashiter hadn't been available to speak about a move last week but eventually got in touch with Kelly over the weekend.
"He had a run out against Colne and I was impressed," said Kelly, whose side travel to Warrington tomorrow. "But he has an LFA hearing coming up and he will stay with Feniscowles until that is resolved.
"He had an altercation with a referee but I don't know the details. He will be available for midweek games but I don't know whether I will play him until he is fully available, I will have to see what my options are in each area."
Russell Brierley, who is the Division One player of the month for October after scoring 13 goals, is back from suspension after Saturday's game.
"If there wasn't this 'rift' between me and Russ maybe he would have scored more!" joked Kelly, referring to accusations that he had fallen out with his top scorer, who has bagged 21 goals this season.
"He is commited to Ramsbottom, why else would he have travelled all the way to Colne to watch us play on a freezing cold Wednesday night?"
Kelly praised Colne: "They have a good side with many players who could play at a higher level."
