Bradford Bulls U15s Girls 26 Leyland Warriors 14: TRIES came from Kirsty Barrett, Charley Naylor and top tackler Steph Boardman. Player of the match Jennie Coulshed had an excellent game at scrum half until she picked up an ankle injury. Katherine Hart was Most Improved Player.

BARLA Lancashire Cup Thatto Heath U14s 0 Leyland Warriors 6: LEYLAND marched into the last eight of the cup with a magnificent performance combining an unshakeable defence with some scintillating attacking play. The game-breaking move came when speedster Michael Weardon picked up the ball deep in his own half and scooted downfield to post a mesmerising try. Phil Campbell converted leaving Thatto shell-shocked. Warriors dominated a tense second period and were unlucky to have two further Kieron Mee tries disallowed.
Despite trying everythin, Thatto were unable to make an impression as Leyland were not to be denied a hard fought victory.
Waterhead U18s 32 Warriors 12: TRIES came from Chris Banks and Anthony Hughes. Man of the Match was Dan Lofthouse and top tackler Jim Johnson.
