PEOPLE from all over the North West were given a chance to dig into their past during a family history day at Colne Library on Saturday.
Anyone who thought they were a direct descendant of Henry VIII or other historical figures, or simply wanted to make a start on a family tree, was given help and guidance on research by the Pendle and Burnley branch of the Lancashire Family and Heraldry Society.
Handy tips on uncovering information and accessing archives were dispensed in the reference section of the Market Street library.
