CASH from the Lancashire Tourism Partnership is helping bring more visitors to a prestigious art gallery in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
The Platform Gallery in Clitheroe has benefited from a £10,000 grant from the Lancashire Tourism Partnership's Lancashire Attraction Development Fund.
The money has been used to improve facilities at the venue as part of a major revamp, which has elevated the Platform Gallery to compete with the best in the North West.
The gallery is housed in the town's former railway station building which dates from 1870. It opened in 1994 and gives artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work and hosts a regularly changing programme of visual arts exhibitions and contemporary crafts.
