Warrington Town 1 Ramsbottom United 3
THE Rams clocked up an excellent win in a blood and thunder encounter at Warrington.
Steve Orrell got an early opener but shortly after was harshly dealt a red card after a home defender crunched Phil Porter in a bad tackle then threw a punch at the Rams' scorer who raised his hands to protect himself. Amazingly the referee saw fit to send both players off.
Jamie Taylor added a second but Warrington hit back just before the break.
A splendid victory was sealed by David Yorke-Robinson's second half header.
Taylor received the man of the match award.
