PEEL Tower is top of the agenda at Thursday's (Nov 22) meeting of Ramsbottom and Tottington area board.
There will be a debate on completing its restoration, attended by the council's conservation planning officer and the National Trust.
Also on the agenda is a 45-minute public question time.
The meeting starts at 7pm at the Christ Church Neighbourhood Centre in Great Eaves Road, Ramsbottom.
There will also be a last opportunity to get involved with the Christmas entertainments and lend a hand with the town's Dickensian markets, shop window competition and festive decorations.
Councillor Dorothy Gunther, area board chairman, said: "Peel Tower has been an instantly recognisable symbol of Ramsbottom and indeed Bury for generations.
"I am sure local people will be pleased to hear about the exciting plans to complete the restoration of this monument and to find out a little more about the history of the tower."
