REGARDING Mrs Mari Thompson's defence of "orange badge" holders (Letters, November 14), I agree with the original remarks by Mr N Holt (Letters, November 8).
Come to Lower Darwen on days when there's a match at Ewood Park and watch the orange badge holders illegally park their vehicles and walk unaided the mile to the football ground.
This occurs regularly, along with the rest of the mob having no respect for the locals' property or vehicles.
Every week, the police cone off the streets and force residents to move their vehicles or face parking tickets and within an hour the supporters move in, congesting the village. Even parking on double yellow lines the wrong way around on a one-way street is OK, if you have an orange badge and definite spring in your step.
