DOG owners on means tested benefits or pensions can take part in a free microchipping scheme for their pooches in Clitheroe and Longridge next week.
The NCDL, in conjunction with Ribble Valley Borough Council's animal warden service, will be taking their mobile unit into the towns to offer advice on microchipping, responsible dog ownership and neutering.
The unit will be at the Spar car park, Longridge, on Monday and Tuesday, and at Booths supermarket car park on Wednesday and Thursday, between 10am and 4pm.
To get your dog microchipped take proof of benefit, if applicable, or £9.50 to any of the venues.
It is also advised to take proof of vaccinations for dogs under 12 months.
