A PARISH council has objected to plans to convert a detached, two-storey barn into a house.
Theaccording to a report to be presented to Blackburn with Darwen's planning and highways committee tomorrowthurs.
The owners want to create a three-bedroom house, with a single-storey lounge extension on one side.
But Turton Parish Council is opposing the project, stating that the extension to the barn means it breaches planning regulations in a green belt area.
They believe the barn conversion amounts to overdevelopment of one site.
Despite the concerns, members of Blackburn with Darwen's planning and highways committee have been minded to approve the scheme.
