This is the opening statement on a leaflet sent out by the Labour Party in the Roe Lee Ward, Blackburn.
It is an insult to the intelligence of Roe Lee residents to send such a small piece of paper, asking them to name problems that annoy them.
The ruling Labour group is well aware of how many problems we have in this borough. An A4 pad would be too small to list them on.
I would like council leader Bill Taylor, who was named as a contact on this leaflet, to send me a list of monies spent in Roe Lee by Labour. Schemes put forward by the three ward councillors have never been completed.
In my opinion, Roe Lee fares worse from funding than many other wards in the town.
MRS ANN LAW RIDING (chairman, Roe Lee Conservative Ward), St Michael's Court, Blackburn.
