WITH news readers being told not to wear poppies and a vicar banning the Union Jack from his church, I wonder what kind of spineless society we are living in.
Our grandparents risked their lives to make sure that the people of Britain had their free will and independence. We used to be a nation of "Bulldogs". Now we are scared to stand up for our religion and our rights in case we are accused of being racist. It is bureaucracy gone mad.
I believe this country benefits from a multi-cultural society but we are in danger of turning our back on our history because we are too busy being "politically correct".
