THE temperature is certainly rising when it comes to securing prime new office accommodation in Bury.
And one of the town's newest and most distinctive developments has now been let to Bury Council.
Inwood House, a detached office building at the junction of Bolton Street and Peel Way, is proving to be eye-catching because of its high profile temperature-reading gauge which has a prominent external location.
Sole agent Insignia Richard Ellis has disclosed that the building, comprising 580 sq metres, has been let to Bury Council on a new lease at a rental close to £118 per square metre.
The office is to be occupied by the social services' north area mental health team.
Jim Clarkson of Insignia Richard Ellis said: "Inwood House is a prominently situated, quality detached office building set within its own landscaped grounds and provides on-site parking for 25 vehicles.
"All these factors go a long way to highlight the reasons behind the successful letting to Bury Metro."
Insignia Richard Ellis' agency team acted for the Inwood House owners, Inwood Holdings.
From their base in Bury, Inwood Holdings and their associate company, Badger Homes, are actively engaged in both commercial and residential developments in Lancashire and Cheshire.
