A MAN who threw a bottle through a friend's window was said to be 'cracking up' when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates.
Rama Ali Mohammed, 33, of Pringle Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to criminal damage and was given a conditional discharge for 12 months.
Roger Pickles, defending, said Mohammed had thrown the bottle after a row with his friend's girlfriend. "He tells me he is cracking up," said Mr Pickles. "He is on the verge, or possibly in the middle of, a nervous breakdown. He needs help of some kind and he does want help."
