I'M going to avoid the bypass in future -- and surely that defeats the object of it.
The changes at the Firs Lane end have added another few irritating minutes on to my journey to work.
It's infuriating what a difference a cycle lane can make. I'm sure the idea is just paint one, limit traffic to two lanes instead of three, and let's see traffic back up to the next set of lights. That's what's happening now.
The new cycle lane appeared last month, but what I would like to know is when riders reach the end of the white lines, are they supposed to mount the pavement or the grass verge on the other side until the next lot of lines appears?
Of course not.
These cycle lanes are another excuse for making the lives of motorists even more miserable.
