A CHARITY which tours infant and junior schools teaching children about dangerous substances has received a cheque for £500 from the Blackburn-based company Ryder Systems.
Each year the company, which is based at the Daisyfield Business Park, donates some of its profits to mainly local charities.
This year it accepted a request from the Rotary Club of Great Harwood and Rishton to donate money to Life Education Centres.
