BURNLEY'S young players take centre stage at Turf Moor tonight hoping to match the good form of the senior side.
The Clarets' youth team welcomes Tranmere Rovers in a Lancashire Youth Cup tie, and they are hoping to get revenge against the side from the Wirral.
Tranmere have already recorded a victory against Burnley in the Youth Alliance Cup this season, winning the game in the final minute, but tonight's match offers the Clarets the chance to even the score.
Pashley will be without a number of key players who are too old for the competition, having turned 18 before the start of September.
Central defender Earl Davis, full back Andrew Leeson and midfielder Andrew Waine will all be in ther stand watching their colleagues in action.
But there is still experience in the side with reserve team regulars Joel Pilkington, Mark Rasmussen and Matty O'Neil all just 17-years-old.
Fans wanting to watch the game can get entry to Turf moor for £3 adult, £1.50 concession and the kick off is 7.15pm.
