A FUND-raising car wash raised £160 for the Blackpool District Scout Council's Jamboree Contingent -- marking the beginning of their campaign to raise the money for a trip of a lifetime to Thailand to take part in the World Scout Jamboree.
Scouts got stuck into washing the cars last weekend at the 1st Bispham Scout and Guide headquarters on Devonshire Road, Blackpool. They managed to have fun in the process, despite the biting cold weather.
Anyone interested in donating to the fund can call the promotions publicity officer on (07984) 003567.
