A ST ANNES man was stabbed during a late-night street brawl in the town at the weekend.
The 32-year-old, who has not been named, suffered an injury to the left side of his abdomen during the incident, which happened on The Crescent, St Annes at 2.20am on Saturday morning (Nov 24).
The stabbing is thought to have happened during a row between two groups of people who had just left the Park Lane Nightclub, Back West Crescent.
The man is believed to have noticed he had been stabbed as he was walking away from the scene. he was taken by ambulance to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he was expected to undergo surgery for the injury.
Three men and a woman were arrested close to the area and were due to be interviewed on Saturday at Blackpool Police Station where they were held in custody. They have since been released on Police bail and inquiries are continuing.
