Radcliffe Boro 1 Farsley Celtic 1
BORO'S lead at the top of the Unibond League Division One table was cut to two points as they struggled to find a way past a stubborn and resolute Farsley defence.
The visitors keeper had an inspired day starting in the very first minute with a triple save from Richard Landon, Eamonn Elliott and Jody Banim. He made further quality saves from Landon and Elliott before being rounded by Banim who contrived to place his shot over the bar. Boro dominated but went behind on 47 minutes when Damien Henderson punished home keeper Danny Hurst's hesitation. The leveller came on 61 minutes with a slightly deflected Simon Kelly free kick. Sutcliffe again denied Banim on 88 minutes with a quite stunning save to tip a curling shot over.
