GEORGE CRADDOCK was the two-goal hero as Colne picked up all three points at Ashton Town.
It was an excellent performance from John Lister's men and they fully deserved the victory earned by Craddock with the winner eight minutes from time.
Colne were in command for long periods but it looked like they would have to settle for a point for the second successive week as Ashton hit back late in the game.
Craddock, who has been in excellent form in recent weeks, had given the NWCL Second Division side the lead in the 55th minute.
But Ashton fought back and levelled through Paul Prescott in the 75th minute.
It looked as though the game might finish all square but Craddock had other ideas as he grabbed his eighth of the season in the 82nd minute to give Lister's men a deserved win.
RESULT: ASHTON TOWN...1 COLNE...2
