GREAT Harwood ended a run of nine NWCL Division One defeats but manager Denis Underwood was disappointed not to take all three points.
After gaining a first half lead when Damian McKay netted after 18 minutes Great Harwood then had to work hard to hold Nantwich at bay.
That job looked to have been done but a John Scarlett strike three minutes from time gave Nantwich a point.
"We set our stall out to do a job and, while it was not fantastic at times, we really should have had three goals and been clear," explained Underwood.
"We did improve our game again and for the first 25 minutes we played very well, but after that we conceded a lot of possession.
"Having defended well for so long it was just a big disappointment to let them get the goal.
"We had our chances to wrap it up, Neil Baron could have had one but put his shot an inch or two wide, but we just have to try and pick ourselves up for the next game."
RESULT: GREAT HARWOOD...1 NANTWICH...1
