LAND on the site of the Clough Springs Brewery, in Barrowford, also known as the The Vinegar Works, could be transformed in to a luxury housing development if planning permission is granted by councillors.
The plans, submitted by Nationwide Special Projects Ltd, include split level three and four storey blocks of 30 luxury apartments and four detached houses with associated garages and parking.
Members of the Barrowford and Western Parishes Committee will consider the plans at their first meeting of the New Year, on January 13.
Other items to be discussed will be applications to build a summer house at number 4, Ousel Rock, in Roughlee, to create a new frontage to Barrowford Off Licence, in Gisburn Road, to construct a road through a field close to Pasture House Farm, in Barrowford, and to make alterations to convert a barn at Higham Hall into a dwelling and form a garage from part of an outbuilding.
