A MUSICAL workshop takes place in the Ribble Valley next week thanks to a £5,000 grant from the national Awards for All scheme.
Musical Workshops Lancashire will hold a session for brass and percussion musicians at Bowland High School, Grindleton, on Sunday December 9, from 10.30am to 5pm.
Members of the renowned 'Versatile Brass' will be there and will coach up to 100 musicians. And at 7.30pm, 'Versatile Brass' will perform at the Parish Church hall, Clitheroe, with the proceeds to go to the North West Air Ambulance and Research into Children's Cancer.
Tickets are £6, £5 with concessions, and are available from the Tourist Information Centre, Clitheroe, or on 01200 441612.
