YOUNGSTERS from Heasandford Primary School, Burnley, will be taking part in a special BBC Songs of Praise programme.
Forty-two members with of the upper junior choir took part in the Young World Young Voices in concert at the MEN Arena in Manchester. Seven thousand five hundred children took part from 200 schools in the North west.
Their performance will be screened on December 30.
Music co-ordinator at Heasandford Paula Claridge said: "We had been preparing for the concert since September. We had 12 songs and medleys to learn. The afternoon was spent rehearsing with the other children to form the mass choir."
It is also hoped that the Manchester event will enter the Guinness Book of records as the largest performing children's choir.
Paula added: "This was Heasandford's third year at the concerts. It was hard work but a fantastic experience for the children."
