A SKILLED and enthusiastic workforce is the key to remaining competitive in the world of contract packing, according to Nelson-based Strategy Group.
The dedication and commitment of its staff has led to the company, on the Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, for the third consecutibe year rewarding employees who have been with Strategy for ten years. Pendle Mayor Coun Colin Waite was on hand to present the awards.
The Strategy Group, which wraps and packs products and special promotions for confectionery and grocery manufacturers, has honoured five of its dedicated workforce.
Employees Audrey Judson, Margaret Bulman, Paul Harran, Rashida Begum and Irene Kegg all received the long service awards at the ceremony, while production manufacturing operative (PMO) NVQ level two certificates were also presented to Nadeem Ashraf, Denise Everett and Deborah Sutcliffe.
